The Blessings of Family

Welcome to our Blog.  As in past years,  it is my desire that we all think on similar things for the next four weeks.  Beginning on March 9th,  we will be  sharing with you twenty eight devotional thoughts from the book of 1 John.  Our theme for this year is “The Wonderful Works of God.”  One of the greatest blessings that God has given to us is family.  We are privileged to be given a mom and dad and brothers and sisters.  Some do not have a mom or a dad,  but we have a touch of what heaven will be like in the local church.  The local church is all about family,  brothers and sisters with the greatest common factor of anyone in the world.  Not only do we share the same God,  the same Savior and the same Holy Spirit,  but we share the same faith,  the same hope,  the same love.   As we think about the blessings of family,  we will share some thoughts about what God says concerning our church and about our fellowship one with another and with our Lord.  We trust that this will be a blessing to you.  Keep tuned to the Web site so that you will be able to begin with us on March 9th.
